LENS MATERIALS

Plastic Lenses
Also called CR-39, are durable, lightweight, and comfortable. Plastic lenses are one of the most commonly prescribed lenses on the market. These lenses are best suited for those with mild or minimal prescription needs.

Polycarbonate Lenses
Also called Impact-resistant lenses are thinner and lighter than plastic lenses. These lenses are shatter-proof making them a great choice for kids and adults alike. These lenses are ideal if you have a strong prescription since they do not add thickness when correcting vision, minimizing any distortion.

Trivex Lenses
Trivex lenses are thin, lightweight, and impact-resistant. Additionally, these lenses provide sharper central and peripheral vision than polycarbonate lenses do.

High-index Lenses
Do you have a strong prescription need and wear your glasses for most of the day? If so, high-index lenses may be for you. Designed for those with strong prescriptions, hi-index plastic lenses correct your vision with less material, making the lens much thinner, lighter, and more comfortable—the perfect combination for long-term wear.
